Winter Acting Performance
In an exciting evening of theatre featuring selections from Glass Menagerie, King Richard III and Macbeth, Sophomore Acting Majors will go on at 6pm, and our Junior Acting Majors will present at 7pm.
Winter Musical Theatre Performance
Our Sophomore and Junior Musical Theatre Majors are exciting to bring you a whirlwind tour through selections from eight incredible musicals. The showcase will include scenes and songs from Show Boat, A Chorus Line, My Fair Lady, Evita, South Pacific, Into the Woods, Anything Goes and Dreamgirls.
A note about parking at Juarez: if you are unable to find parking in the lot at 21st and Loomis, there is plenty of street parking in the area; after you park, enter through door 15.

AUDITION WORKSHOPS:
ChiArts Backstage Pass (formerly Audition Workshops) are open to any 8th-grade student who wishes to learn more about the audition process. Each session will give families a better understanding of the academic & artistic culture unique to ChiArts. While participation is recommended, students are not required to attend a workshop in order to audition or apply for admission to ChiArts.
Due to space restrictions, registration is required. All Backstage passes are FREE. There is no need to sign up for more than one time slot in a single arts area (Musical theatre students are to attend one of the Theatre sessions). Students are allowed to register for more than one arts area/conservatory. To register online simply fill out the form below, or send the requested information by email: .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) or phone: 773-534-9710. A confirmation email will be sent once your request is received. Submit your information at least 7 days before the workshop date of your choice.

Theatre Field Trip
August Wilson Monologue Competition
Theatre students will be participating in the preliminary round of the August Wilson Monologue Competition. Finalists will compete at the Goodman on April 11 for a chance to participate in the National Competition in NYC.

The Theatre department presents an evening of performances by Sophomore Acting and Musical Theatre majors.
